About the event
WHAT: NLAC’s Movies In the Park is a free, family-friendly outdoor movie event in New
London, Connecticut. The goal is to provide our residents with a unique
opportunity to visit their local recreation destinations after hours to watch
blockbuster hits under the night sky. Pre-show programming will include
advertising from local businesses and sponsors, as well as short films and video
work by local artists. This event is organized for the community by the
community. Bring your own snacks & seating. Portable restrooms will be present.
WHERE: Williams Park, 149 Broad Street, New London, CT 06320
WHEN: Saturday, August 10th. 8-11 pm. Rain Date: Saturday, August 24th. 8-11 pm.

PARKING: Street parking only. Please read and comply with the parking signs surrounding
the park and neighborhood.
SAFETY: We want everyone to enjoy the evening without incident. That said, we are in a
public space with cross-traffic surrounding the park. Please keep younger ones
within sight and activities within our limited area.
